The Adventurers returned to the Inn in Ashenport to find that in the 24 hours they spent in the temple saw two more siren call events, eliminating 3/4 of the remaining civilians from out of town. At this point the remaining merchant and 3 guards are desperate for the heroes to stop this noise from beckoning them to their deaths. One of the guards says that he followed a suspicious towns-person to a point at the cliffs where it looked like the citizen spoke to a fish-man. He introduced himself as Nit Bitsim and offered to show the spot to the party.
The group found the cliff and climbed down, but was ambushed even before half of the group had touched the ground. An abomination of half man, half shellfish leaped out of the water, clearing 30 feet to land next to Mirra. It grabbed her, and was about to jump back into the water but Mirra struggled out of its grasp. The group fought against the creature, but it was strong, forcing some of the group into the cave looking for safe distance from its reach. As Mirra stepped back into the cave entrance, she sprang a trap, spilling a burning adhesive onto the hamadryad from above, and alerting a group of fish-men that were waiting for a chance to strike.
The fight was difficult, but the heroes managed it. As they were cleaning their wounds and Mirra was assisting Ooga de Booga with a poisoned cut, a man in cloth walked into the group and they all heard a voice in their minds saying “We need to leave”.
